Overwintering in Brittany

As I may have a bit of unexpected time off, I am thinking of taking the boat to South Brittany and leaving her there either afloat or ashore for the winter.

As I havn't sailed that area for years I'm a rather out of date on boat yards and marinas. Does anyone have a staring point for me to get some web site addrs or phone nos pls ?

Is anyone on the forum doing this already?

I'm sure they will be able to inform you. In the winter a lot of boats are out of the water and there is room in the marinas.

Roche Bernard and Port La Foret are very popular with British boats for some reason. La Rochelle, further south, has a few resident British boats. The harbour master's name is Christian and he is and very helpful.
