Going from Lymington to Weymouth next week for a few nights stop over. First "big" trip with family and need advice on likely hood of there being a berth in the mariner. Also what facilites has the mariner got as I can't find any info on the web. i know I should look in my almanac but its on the boat and I'm 50 miles away!!!

Cheers

Diesel Ok from fuel pontoon, petrol available at local garage, 2-300mtr from marina, jerry cans required.

Mooring available on town quay which IMHO is better that marina, more atmosphere!
Bridge height ok for all but V big f/bridge & raggies who need to wait for bridge opening to enter marina.

Agree with Col. Dont bother with the rather souless marina, raft up in the picturesque harbour - if you're lucky you may get on the pontoon. There's leccy and water and its far more sociable. Diesel @ 20.5p/l from thr Raybar is the cheapest on the S. Coast. The harbourmaster is a bit of a twat but thats another story
