Has anyone else experienced overheating engines that use a Johnson raw water pump???
I have had the most exasperating time with my NEW Mermaid Merlin 130s. (a pair of) One has worked fine from day 1. The other has had an endless problem with overheating. This has finally been attributed to the the raw water pump drawing air through the back. Poor design of seal. Not one word of sympathy or regret from Johnson and I wonder if any else has had a similar experience with other engine makes using Johnson pumps??
