Over shelf life glue - Bostik 2402 - any good?

I'm doing some rib repairs and I have an unopened tin of Bostik 2402 glue and catalyst dated use by June 2010. It all still sounds like it is liquid so I am wonderring whether to use it or bin it.

Anyone got any advice / done this?

It's for wear patches over worn out seam wear strips so not overly critical but.....

Surely the only answer is to try a small quantity on some test material? The rest is not going to suddenly 'go bad' overnight. (I believe it is the catalyst that is most likely to deteriorate, and that may be available separately).

(my pure GUESS is that it will still be fine).
