Always worth commenting on. So last year I bought a cheapo Nexus DSC VHF from them online, installed it OK but on its second outing it packed up. As I was in a bit of a rush and it was a nice day, and I was over that way anyway, I diverted to their shop and swapped it out. So far so good.
About 9 months later, the replacement unit died in exactly the same fashion as the first again after only two or three uses (it's not the main VHF on board, and last year was a disastrous season). So I rang them up, apologising that I didn't have any of the paperwork handy. No problem at all, just send it back. It seems there was a batch problem, and they were very apologetic. So I shipped it back and waited for a replacement. About a week later, just as I was thinking about ringing them, they called to say that the unit was due in that day and would go out on a next day delivery. Two days later, they called to apologise, but they had been sent the wrong unit, and could I wait a few more days. Yesterday they called to say it was shipping that day, and sure enough the replacement arrived this morning.
OK, so I had two dead units and a week's delay getting the unit back, but... ... they were incredibly easy to deal with, very friendly and proactive and did exactly what they said they would.
The overall experience of dealing with them was great, and this was just for a £120 radio. They're definitely getting my business again.
