on our potoon, the same old people have the same old boats as they did 2 years ago, but with one notable exception - the ole princess 50 or praps it was a fairline can't remember but it was right in the awkwardest spot in the corner as you walk onto the pontoon... is now outside edge 2 - a brand spankers mangusta 72! yeehah, these are 40knot machines with plenty of wood and big woompah engines with er surface drives i think, unlike some other ahem poverty-pack eyetie boats with turgid hohum oldeworlde propellors. With that name i spect he is Big in horse racing. Any connexion to anyone here? Cue nice pic please...

Agree but cricketers are'nt paid enough to afford a used rubber dinghy so it must be an ex cricketer. As a wild guess could it be Phil Edmonds ex Middlesex and England spin bowler and purveyor of dodgy mining company shares on AIM. He seems to have made a few bob recently
