I have just moved my Finnmaster 61CA to the Thames. The boat is fitted with an outboard with built in fuel tank and I had a safety examiner around late last week and I have a few things to rectify before I can get the certificate.

One question that I have is the following. The examiner said that he thinks the fuel primer pump (which currently sits in the external locker where the fuel tank and cut off is located) may need to be located externally - somewhere near the outboard on the outside.

Does anyone else have a fuel primer pump in the locker or does it need to be 'outside'?
