I have a Yamaha 4ac 6eo from 2000. It sometime takes 10 or more pulls to start from cold, sometime only 1 or 2. She always starts hot but sometimes needs choke. That is the first of the problems. The second is that the last time I used it it whirred for a bit and then died out but only when I put it in higher revs. A thing to add it that it was very deep in the water and when put into higher revs the water was as high as the top of the leg. A thing to note is that this all happened after a service.
