Has anyone relocated there cooling water outlet so they can see it better when underway.I am thinking of moving my 93 mariner 115 3 inches higher and angling it up so it is easy to see it when under way,it is neck breaking trying to see it as standard.

Even with extending the pipe(or do you mean nozzle) it still goes down too sharp and with the angle it is mounted at twisting the nozzle would just throw the stream behind the motor making it harder to see.

I have a small pipe from the top of the exhaust anti syphon bend which exits at the back of the cockpit just above one of the drains.

It worked too well as when the engine revs up it pisses a 3mm jet of water in an ark to halfway across the cockpit.

I can certainly see that the impeller is working without looking over the side.

This winter I have added a small shell cowling to divert the water downwards and stop washing my boots with hot seawater when motoring.
