Long shot on here I know, but i'm looking for an Outboard Engine pallet big enough to put my Extra Long Shaft Suzuki DT200EFI outboard on before selling and shipping it.

the kind that is usually the bottom of the crate a new Outboard arrives in from the factory.

None of the outboard dealers near me in the Portsmouth area have one at the moment.
Anyone have anything hanging around?

Thanks

Nasher.

Nasher, have you thought about approaching someone like Barrus directly. Nice drive in the country to collect perhaps?

Pete

Worth a go I suppose Pete

Thanks, I'll give them a shout.

Next problem is that the boat is immovable at the moment, on a rough Gravel hardsatnding, and the engine is too tall to use a normal engine crane to lift it off. And even if I could get an engine crane over it I couldn't move the crane on the gravel afterwards.
Do you know anyone with a HIAB?

Nasher.

Nasher, sadly not. How much work to make the boat movable again? Once its on flat hard standing then the problem goes away, well at least the engine lift is usable.

Sounds like you need a great big oak tree and a very large pulley, I know someone with one of those.
