Outboard control cables

Have I bought the wrong cables or can you get fittings to go on the end of the threaded inner core?

You are trying to fit type 33c to a box designed for outboard type Cables.

The outboard type cable had a threaded outer cable which you screwed on a bush at the engine and ball plug to go into the control box
Eyes may have been built into the cable ends

You may be able to get a kit to fit the control and another for the engine .
A good outboard dealer should fix you out.

Even says that on side but I think that what were known as omc cables seem to be what was fitted before.
Could start from scratch with new control head which would sort out one end and get new fitting kit for engine to suit 33c cables .
