Well, our loverly new boat which was launched at the end of April is going. Why? Because our even lovelier new boat becomes our on Monday. So it's:

Goodbye Single
Hello Twin
Goodbye Petrol
Hello Diesel
Goodbye Volvo (although we did not have any problems, but then it was new)
Hello Yanmar
Goodbye standing helm
Hello standing or sitting helm
Also hello Fly by wire, extra space, extra berths, extra fridge (we can now store food as well as the booze), TV, DVD etc.
We are leaving it in Dartmouth for the winter, so lets hope the winter is better than the summer was.

Oh yeh, It's the only one currently in Britain (or even Europe)

I just love Christmas

Re: So it\'s.....

It's the new Doral 280Se which was previewed at the SBS.
We have bought the demo boat (at a favourable discount)
It's only 3 feet longer than our 250, but 18" wider, and 2000 kg heavier. It looks, feels, and acts as though it's twice the size, and stayed in the water at 40 knots against the tide (our 250 would have been airbourne at 25 knots in the same conditions)
