Chap in the Solent today lifted off his mobo with a ripped scrotum - sounds unpleasant if not life threatening! Wife/girlfriend/female friend sounded rattled but competent on the radio to coastguard - fair do's in what I guess was a frightening situation, and a quick response from hamble lifeboat and the helicopter.

Overheard the same call and from what I could gather they were jumping off the boat and I assume he got caught on the guard wire or similar. Eek.

I've heard of blokes with ripped abs, but this takes body-building to a whole new level.

I had this injury as a child. My dad used to put me on his shoulders and I would slide down his back to get off. One day he had a pen sticking out of his back pocket... You can imagine the rest.

Well, thanks to Hamble Lifeboat, the helicopter team that airlifted him to Southampton General, and the team of surgeons that put him back together, my husband is recovering well!!
