Off to Ostende on Friday.

We're likely to get there in the dark 18:00+ and as I haven't sailed to Belgium in over 20 years I've emailed info at rnsyc.be for advice.

In the interim, can anyone advise if we'll be able to get in/out of the marina gates and access the loos etc if there's no-one in the office when we arrive. Also, is it bows-to mooring at this time of year or do we moor alongside the pontoons?

Ask in the bar/restaurant upstairs

IIRC, the buoys are removed end of October (roughly).
If you don't fancy it, you can always moor alongside the pontoons. This time of year, it's unlikely to be crowded.

Thanks for the info.

I've just heard back from Simon at rnsyc and he tells me that the moorings are now out of the water.

So we'll go alongside.
