Many of those who have been in Bruce's yard or were in Pomerao a few years ago will have met and most likely had a drink with Ossie (Twister "Jessamine"). Sadly, he passed away today in the UK, having been diagnosed with lung cancer only a month or so ago. He will be missed by many for his generosity, sense of humour and of course his gin!

His death only a week after Phil on Papa Kilo died of a heart attack, leaves many of us wondering who's next?

Yes very sad indeed. Only knew Ossie for a few years since we arrived in Faro. Both being ex-forces we developed a friendship of mutual understanding even though he was a mere Pongo from TurkTown He would bum my tabs whilst I supped his Gin As I write an imrpomptu dinner is being held in his honour. My wife & I are uable to attend. Being men of hounour & standards I know Ossie would understand & be in total agreement as to the reasons why.
Rest in Peace my friend. G & v small T always awaits you in our wheelhouse.
