I am restoring an osbourne sea eagle of 1946 vintage and would like to know if there is an owners club for osbournes or if anyone knows where there is one that I could get some photos of to help me get some of the details right that I am uncertain of.

Which one are you restoring? A friend had Ellessay (sp?) for many years. There's a smaller version of the Eagle (Falcon?) Lady Lucy 2, just been restored by Peter Freebody's, complete new hull, etc etc, totally imaculate when launched at Easter, now believed to be moored at Constables at Hampton on the Thames.

Hi Ian,
Well what a small world! It's Ellesay that I'm restoring! I'm half way through putting a brand new hull on her in Iroko and have completed the Starboard side. I've relaid the forward deck and partly restored the wheelhouse. I reckon I've got 2 years more work to do. I suspect some of the light switches and other minor items are non original and this is the sort of detail I'm trying to find out.
If you want I can post a picture or 2 to show you how she's comming on.
