Came across this interesting utility on the Crown Estate website. It is on a page that states what you can do on the Crown estate foreshore (basically the HW/LW boundary argument). With the exception of a few obvious exclusions (military or ports) they are relaxed as to what you do on their foreshore
You can then look up where the Crown estate foreshore is, here is an interesting picture for anyone who has had a run in with the National Trust at Osborne bay, the purple is the Crown Estate.
For those of you into drone flying then you will know the NT is particularly anti, so if you want to go and really annoy the NT then land at the low water mark and fly around. Crown Estates are pretty much open to flying as per their own guidance on their website
