The race started in Febuary, with a projected duration of 60 days, so without putting a new battery in my calculator, it ought to be reaching
a finishing line, somewhere, soon. I tried a google search, and all the entries were dated Febuary. A coincidence? I don´t think so!

Funny about the lack of news. I seem to remember reading of Tony Bullimore sailing out to the Gulf, full of hope for a fast race. (this is the right race isn't it?) Havn't heard anything recent though.

No need, he's past the Antipodes without incident. He even managed to come thru unscathed when faced with Pirates off the coast of Yemen. apparently when they approached in 3 fast launches, being the old sea dog that he is he offered them Cigarettes and they accepted his generous offer and left.
