According to local radio, Highways England have said that it is likely the Orwell Bridge will be closed tomorrow, due to storm Doris.
Must go out and panic buy immediately.
I don't think it's for sale.![]()
I don't normally shop and Lidl but might have to rough it so i know i have enough stuff onboard to last me the day.
Use Aldi on London Road, no need to use the bridge then.
That will be a Met office forecast then..
Wot wind or parkin
My missus makes parkin. Only in winter mind
http://apps.hha.co.uk/mis/Sensors/LandguardSpeed.aspxLocal radio waffling about 80 mph winds, MET office inshore forecast 8, possibly 9, XC weather 28kt-32kt gusting up to 54kt later. Currently about 17kt gusting 30kt at Harwich. Wind is SW so blowing more or less straight over the bridge.
Bless my soul, Walton just recorded a 61 mph gust
I noticed, thought i was going to capsize.
Harwich need to look at their wind speed stuff, 15kt as Harwich, 50mph at Walton.
