Some of you will be aware that I am considering taking out the LPG in my Hustler. There is no proper gas locker and fitting one would be a very expensive PITA. I currently have a Neptune 2500 gimballed in the stove space with the bottle in a non-compliant box in the cockpit locker behind the adjacent bulkhead.
The cooker space is 495mm max. The Origo 3000 is 464mm wide without the proprietary Origo gimbals fitted, 510mm with. That is obviously 15mm too wide. Has anyone else overcome the same problem by fabricating their own, narrower gimbal system?
