OpenCPN Problem!?

Since today my OpenCPN charting system version 2.6 is not opening up, it just says "Chart Plotter and Navigator has detected a problem and must close". I have downloaded the new version 3.0 and still have the problem.

I have run my 2 anti-virus programmes with no malicious find.

Does anyone else have this problem?

First, though, I'd add some more information such as which OS you are using; whether it was working before; what's changed; what steps you've taken to identify the problem from log files, and so on.

Prior to downloading the new version did you unistall previous one, am sure you did but best to rule out the obvious first

Try uninstalling then using Ccleaner to clean your registry and temporary files.

I finally de-installed and re-installed with many tries over a bad wifi link, sorted. Thanks.
