Hi all,

I'm neither an Ubuntu expert, nor an OpenCPN expert, so forgive me on this.

I've installed OpenCPN into a fresh install of Ubuntu MATE on a slightly venerable Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga laptop, but despite updating the plug ins list, I can still only see 4 plug ins, and therefore can't get to the O-charts plug-in that I need. I did find a previous thread on here that suggested it might be to do with a touch screen, and scroll bars not showing up properly, but if so, can't find a way round this.

Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Thanks

Ok, sorted it. Had to revert in Settings to a different version of OpenCPN for Plug-ins. I used Ubuntu-wx32-x86_64:22.04 (my version of ubuntu is 25.04), and it seems fine. I think.

i understand you've resolved the issue but for future reference the situation you describe normally presents itself on a new install. To see the full list of available plug-ins you need to press the Update Master Catalogue button on the plugins page.

Sure, but as I said in my first message, I did try this (multiple times). This didn't work. I think this is because must plugins aren't "signed off" on the current version of Ubuntu (25.04).

Cheers

Apologies, I now see you tried to update the plugins list unsuccessfully. I'd missed that on reading you post.
