Opencpn for Android

Does anybody know what exactly is the position with Android versions of Opencpn? The official homepage doesn't seem to mention Android at all but there are at least two different apps on the Google Play Store? Is there a particular one to go for?

The paid one is the one to go for, from Dave Register. The other one was compiled ages ago, completely out of date.

I recall that one is free (like the Windows version) but is not updated very often, if at all. The other is "official" and has to be paid for although it is updated.

I'm using the free one and it works fine but I'm only using it for AIS.
