open cpn question - chartwork

has anyone managed or bothered to download and install the add on that enables normal fixes and plotting work to be done on open cpn?

i tried but open cpn didn't recognise the add in

so i gave up not being a boffin

Sometimes the add-ins are developed for a particular release of OpenCpn and don't migrate well with further releases. Usually the developer(s) sort it out . . . eventually.

The draw plug in can do that to an extent but the bearings are the 'wrong way round", from the object and not to the object when you draw the line.
