Open CPN Chart Printing

I have Open CPN with Visit My Harbour raster charts (on a stick) and I am trying to do a print to PDF, I'm not having much success. Is this a problem someone has encountered and is it possible to overcome it? I am using CutePDF writer but the Microsoft PDF printer gives the same issue. If it's not possible to print to PDF I guess I'll have to screenshot and save that.

Just tried it with raster, seems work fine using microsoft print to PDF after hitting the print icon in opencpn. Tried it with mbtile raster and KAP raster files. Also tried Spanish bought vector charts from o-charts , also fine.
Unless somehow VMH have some anti print flag which tells Opencpn to not print them.... seems unlikely though..
Do vector charts print OK?

I don't have vector charts on open cpn. I do have KAP raster files but they don't print to PDF either?

Sounds like maybe a problem your end,? I just hit the print icon and the printer options dialog pop up and it works OK, foxit writer works OK as well here >

Which version Opencpn? I'm on 5,2, latest.

I'm going to try installing another PDF printer.

The VisitMyHarbour chart sticks are encrypted / copy-protected, so it might well be this that prohibits printing.

You might try phoning VisitMyHarbour to see what they say about this - they seem quite friendly and helpful.

Solved, doesn't work in tablet mode. Switched to desktop mode and all good!
