Hi!

I have a small problem at my Opacmare passerelle
The problem at my Opacmare passerelle cassette that he doesn't close all the way inside,
The first stage no any problem. but when the gangway should get in the cassette he stuck (look like he doesn't in line with the cassette). - if I help the gangway and push with my hand/leg to the center and pressing the close operation in the remote he closed. - the pump works well (Up/down and extend first stage no any problem)
Do you have any idea what should be the problem?

Thanks !

Yes I too have a problem with my Opacmare passarrelle (sp?) not retracting and I’m not happy about it. It will not retract but indeed will do everything else.
This appears to be a common issue,
one would think they would have solved this retraction issue.

It sounds like it is slightly high when you want to retract into the cassette. You need to re-teach it where "horizontal" is. Common thing. I know how to do it on Besenzoni but not opacmare. It must be online somewhere.

JFM when you have time can you post how to do the Besenzoni please, I had an issue with mine a week ago and after playing around with it in manual mode by overriding it and putting it partly away it started to work again.I would like to know if that worked or was I just lucky? Thanks

Sensor issue, common problem. If a sensor moves even .5mm it makes a huge difference. You need to find the sensor that is your issue? Too high, Too low, too far in too far out etc. Once you figure the sensor out you can adjust the position. Do tiny amounts and keep testing until its all good!

I think the Opacmare is different to the Benzoni in this respect.
IIRC, the Opacmare uses fixed (adjustable) limit switches.
We learned very early on to make sure that the passerelle doesn't touch the quay.
If it gets pushed in by the vertical wall of a quay, it knocks all the limit switches.
It is quite a difficult process to reset them as well.
It has been a long time and I didn't actually do the job myself - a few forum friends who post on here actually reset it for me.
From memory, there is a toothed rubber band that runs longitudinally with sensors that needs to be "fooled" in order to gain access the main limit switches.
Sorry, I can't be much more help.
Since then, I have made sure it doesn't get knocked against the wall.

Ah ok. Yes it is different. For the up/down, besenzoni uses a variable limit switch. A sort of potentiometer piston thing. You put it in learning mode, move the passerelle to where you want it, then tell the computer "remember where you are now" and that sets the "limit switch".

The same thing happened on a friends boat after the wind pushed the boat backwards and the passerelle collided with the concrete dockside.

Two men from Boats U.K. came to the boat and tied a rope to the outermost section and gave a few hefty yanks on the rope and moved the section to a more outer position.

Press the passerelle control and all was back to normal.

I watched the whole thing from the next boat so this is not second hand info.

I too am having an issue with a bad sensor or loose connection for the green W sensor that tells the system when the 2nd stage has been retracted so the 1st stage (car) can then align and retract. Getting no LEDs illuminated on the sensor. Even putting a screw driver in front of it.

Does anyone know how to trouble shoot the sensor and what volatags I should see on each wire if connected properly?

Finally replacement sensors seem insanely expensive (>195 EUR) for a simple solid state sensor. Is there a generic equivalent that will play nice with the Opacmare system?

PS I have same gripe about the 4 button remote!
