Not sure!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Each Late May Bank Hol the RNSA have a combined meet with the Little Ship Club in Calais. I fancy going somewhere different but my conscience is telling me as Hon Sec of Sailing Association I should be with them in Calais.

However as the lock gates in Calais are broken the meet might be moved to Oostende! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jomo & wife.

Youngest crew member seems to have opted out now.

We are planning to leave early on Friday, following CliveG's advice. With fair winds Limbo should be in on Friday evening, hopefully in time to try one of those Duvel thingumies /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If the weather is ok you could jump ship and either have more or less time ashore.... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
weather dependant of course /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Neil, at this time, most happy to confirm that you have two guests that are very much looking forward to the trip, former doubts seem to have been unwarranted, all clear now thanks.

We have had some discussions about it but I think it's probably unlikely. I'm not keen on long passages (8 hours is about my limit really) and HWMBO can't do it on his own, plus he may have to work. It's still in our diaries, however, for something to work towards possibly.

how many NMs to OOstende from the east coast? Im toying with the idea of lassooing morgana as he leaves deeping and doin the trip on the cheepo /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Harwich to Oostende about 79nm subject to course.

Tidal sets and lazy helming - who knows /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If Morgana is towing you then I might be able to keep up with him /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Its in our plans also, having said that we have had lots of plans over the last few weeks which have come to diddly squat.
