Damage caused to Navigation Marks
An incident occurred this weekend where Fairway No 13 Light Buoy was hit, completely decapitating the light and dislodging the sign with no report of the incident made to the Crouch Harbour Authority.
Although we appreciate that people do not deliberately set out to hit Navigation Marks, please be aware that unlit Light Buoys can be a serious danger to navigation, particularly in the vicinity of the Commercial Baltic Wharf. Therefore, we kindly request in the event you do make contact with Navigation Marks within the CHA district that you please notify the Harbour Office on 01621 783602 or info@crouchharbour.org.uk.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
