Only an idiot would be working under his boat, find a screw that had de-zinced, rummage around in the hole and not be able to get out the remains.
So the idiot would decide to chisel out a square and glue in a graving peice, put a new screw into the boat either side of the old one.
The idiot, would manage to get the graving piece in just fine, he'd also manage to get one screw in just fine, when drilling the pilot hole for the second screw the idiot would 'find' a cutout in the frame in the bilge for a limber hole.
What an idiot.
He should heve looked in the bilge more carefully.
