Anyone know where I can enter in my sail data and receive an instant quote?
I know my exact measurements..

All seem's a bit 90's for the online marine world!

I don't want to wait for a quote!

So, do you know the fabric you want to use, the panel lay-out, the thread used for stitching, the reefing arrangements, the luff slider size, where you want the leechline to come out, the mast profile, the mast bend, the wind speeds you reef at, the wind range you want the sail for, batten numbers, positions and length, and more? They are all questions a decent sailmaker would want to know before giving you a definitive quote. And a really good sailmaker will want to see the rig and measure it himself before putting laser cutter to polyester.

Agree with Ken. You are better off talking to two or three sailmakers about your requirements as there is so much choice of materials cut finishes and features.

However, if you just want a ball park figure for basic sails then Crusader have a number of examples of different sizes/type in their adverts and SeaTeach also sell standard stock sails.

He is not asking any one to start cutting polyester, or anything more exotic for that matter. Rather pointing out quite a few sailamkers will quote against a manually filled in spec sheet, why cant they do the same on line. In general the owner can give all the info you mention but has to use snail mail to pass it on to the sailmaker.

Even if you are going for a full custom sail you want to do some initial sifting to make sure you do not have to spend days with the guys who are either too cheap or too expensive for your budget. In my book if they make it too dificult to get useful info they fall off the list anyway.
