We are setting off today from St Helena, Mid Atlantic, towards the Caribbean. Because we are a bit short of time, we are planning a direct hit to Grenada, probably by-passing Ascension, Fernando de Noronha, the north east coast of South America and Trinidad/Tobago. So a total of 3700nm or more; and at our rate of 100nm a day, we should be rolling into Grenada on Good Friday or later! Boring 'what we had for tea' type blog available here www.sailblogs.com/member/wanderings - boring mostly because it's short and sweet, sent by satellite phone, and cos we don't put anything too scary or lurid so as not to frighten the relatives- but you're welcome to look anyway.
IF we make Grenada, we will have completed our circumnavigation... just a little matter of another Atlantic crossing to do to get home again. I have plans for the Cherbourg trip this year!
