Can anyone recommend a good way for crew joining a private yacht sailing from the Canaries to St Maarten in January to cover themselves with travel insurance? They will fly back to UK asap after arriving.

I would have thought that St Maarten even in January was worth a few days visit?

Thanks to everyone who has responded. The simple reason for returning to uk quickly after the crossing is to get back to a busy work desk.
