Ha that’s on my local stretch when I’m not bobbing about the SoF.

May come as no surprise but it was unregistered and ‘tender’ to another unregistered live aboard.

That regatta course is well sign posted and it takes some doing to be that stupid at such a slow speed!

I refer to that level of stupidity….. the river is NOT closed, only one side (North / Middlesex) bank. He’s basically ignored the sign in the middle of the river stuck to the left coming down ( instead of the right) and ploughed through the course !

The river is not even closed for Henley regatta!

I often see them cross crossing Port Hercules so the SoF ( okay Monaco) is not even safe

Not excusing the behaviour but having cruised up the Thames a few years ago we found that some rowers and their race officials were quite arrogant and rude and clearly thought that their activity took precedence over other river users. Not all of course and we are live and let live kind of people so did what we could to accommodate them but that didn’t always mean that we didn’t get shouted at!

Agreed. They can be utterly unpleasant at time. However this chap is very much in the wrong and across the course !
