I read in the papers tonight that another incident on the Thames involving Passenger Launches. Apparantly, they hit a rowing skiff with 6 media people that was taking part in an annual race. They were rescued by the PLA and no body got killed..

No doubt some of the contributers will be eager to find out what type of Van they drive and what there mental age is...

Aha but them being "media" people they do not count ,as they are not human as the rest of us would recognise it. Anyway you lot on the Thames are all Teddyboys and ton up merchants. So there.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.

OK..enough is enough.....

.......listen you mankymedwaymaniac.....calling us Thames folk Teddy Boys and ton up merchants is just a tad beyond the pale....... If you werent a Princess owner ( even if only 12 inches longer than mine) I'd probably say something really nasty like 'go get a Broom and stick it where the sun dont shine' but then Clive would be upset.

Re: OK..enough is enough.....

Oooo getting personal. When us Medway old sea dogs went for a trip he did not have that trailor tent thing on the top of his boat I suspect it must have taken it off because we are all roughty toughty types down here and do not need wussy bits of canvas to keep the sleet off.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.
