On Eurosport to-day, a clip of film showing a fast trimaran, so what, seen one seen them all.
Then they had a fly past view, main hull out of the water, port float clear of the water, starboard float clear of the water. It now has my interest, next view is through the nets, and it has hydrofoils, back to the high shot and this thing is flying clear of the water with only hydrofoils and long rudder in the water. About the size of B&Q, basically standard rig. but made B&Q look like it was standing still.
Makes you wonder how long the record will stand, but then once set it's history, the future is breaking it.
Anyone seen any gen on the trimaran, appeared to have a website on mast but not time to read it.
