Has anyone got a suggestion on where to find the racing record/history of this yacht ?

Hi Boatless

If she is originally Ondine V, then she was one of a family (up to Ondine VIII I believe) owned by legendary US yachstman Huey Long.

She came from an era of really handsome IOR maxis, such as Marvin Greens' Nirvana, and was more of a round the cans boat than the heavier, tougher Whitbread maxis.

Check for the various Ondine yachts under the major races such as Fastnet, Sydney/Hobart, Bermuda race etc going back into the early sixties - she'll be there somewhere.

Otherwise try via the RORC records, or under Huey Long.

Thanks Sharkman, she was one of Mr.Long's yachts and I think she is handsome (but then .... I'm a bit prejudiced

Nirvana was also in Norway for a while but I haven't seen her for some time.
