You don't get much for free from UKHO!
The nearest on line equivalent to NP 5011 is from the US Govt NGA, see here:

If charts, tides, pilots and publications are deemed safety related they are usually free in the USA, if only it were the same here.
From memory the US chart symbols are not totally identical to the Admiralty version.

there is also the French (hear hear /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif) version, which can be downloaded for free at
www.shom.fr
then click "Ouv.numeriques" on the left column
then scroll down until Chart 4001
if I remember correctly the text is bilingual (?)
