Read an article in a French sailing magazine over in France last week which really slatted Musto Ollies as you might have expected. If my schoolboy French was correct they said that they were overpriced. To my suprise they really favoured Bermudes. Personally, I have worn Mustos since the late eighties and never had any trouble with them.

Hi Smokie

Personally I have always had Musto gear, yes its pricey, but it is quality, I have worn them in the Solent and out at sea.
Each to their own though eh? My last ones I got from www.sailroom.co.uk at less then Swindlery prices!!

Very happy with the product and I will continue to buy them.

I find the XM range good all rounders, at a sensible price. Our boats all have XM coastal suits purchased through sailroom.co.uk

I will recommend both makes, and it is from experience of using the products in anger, over many many years and for many many sea miles.

You will find the frogs seem to prefer the "Guy Cotton" type of oil skin...which indeed is more like the traditional oilly than the modern versions.......you will never see a French or Cornish fisherman without a set of Guy Cotton's
