Any one planning to follow the thames barge match this weekend?
I understand the start times kick off at 8am and head out towards shivering sand towers. I recon about midday would be a good time to try and keep up with them around southend as they head back. Any thoughts on that? I was planning to spend friday night at queenborough on the concrete lighter providing its not booked or drop the hook in stangate but the weather aint looking too rosy. Any way the old girl will be out and about and i have a nice bottle of malt on board if anyone wants a snifter at QB /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If you are responsible for navigating the vessel, will you be moored alongside, anchored, or aground?

I hope your comsumption of alchohol will not put you over the limit or you may find one of Mr. Ladyman's "Marine Officers" (drag acts in lifejackets) will ruin your evening!
