I'm looking for a Ships log book to use as a visitors log for Arklow Seafarers memorial garden.... I cannot find anything on line... maybe you might direct me to a site

The look needs to be old style (19th century) maybe leather bound

Had a search and all I could find was this:

http://antiques.shop.ebay.co.uk/Mar...kw=log+book+&_cqr=true&_nkwusc=logbook&_rdc=1

interesting but irrelevant.

Have you considered making your own? i.e. getting a leather bound book from an office suppliers and either ripping the pages out and putting in your own "log" pages, or simply hand ruling every page neatly with whatever columns you wanted? You could scruff it up a bit for effect and even add a little symbol or something to the cover.

Something like this:

Then again a ready made one would probably be a lot easier and look the part.

Actually I found this crowd when searching:

They might make up a book for you. You could always try somewhere local and ask them if they would do the job for you, printers in Ireland are suffering big time at the moment.
