Hi all,
A friend managed to pull my outhaul adjusting line off it's internal rig inside the boom. (It's a 1967 Sparlight roller reefing boom, so no info online...)
Does anyone know how it would be rigged inside the boom? I'm planning on opening it up, but all the screws are seized so may take me a while!
In the image, you can see the jamming cog at the top - forrard end, but I'm not sure why there's another wheel at the bottom of the image... wouldn't the line simply head straight to the back of the boom? Or would it head forrard first for some reason...?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Crisp
