Still doing my instructors course every Friday, last friday we worked with a displacement hulled boat so that we can walk away from the course as planning and displacement hull instructor.
We borrowed one of the steel boats that the people next door to us use to simulate lifeboats from ferries and cruise liners (speaking of cruise liners, just have to mention only 15 days til i fly to new york, pick up the QE2 and go around the Carrabean). Anyway this thing was so heavy and had an engine that just chugged along, we had to turn it off it we wanted to talk to each other.
Although after a while i can see it becoming boring, it was so much fun.
