Does anyone know this model?
Old Lewmar 30ST.
Due for a service, but I can't find a way to open it.
No circlip, screw on top or bottom or anything I can think of. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif [image]http://

The top, including the arm for the self tailer, unscrews from the rest of the winch. Easier to do with the winch bolted down, use a small piece of wood to protect the self tailer arm and gently tap the arm from the side to start the top moving. Once you have unscrewed the top the rest is fairly obvious. Best of luck
