old incastec analogue depth gauge

I have an old one of these on my boat, it works ok and I haven't run aground yet in shallow water. It is very difficult to read and I would like to update it to a digital readout. If possible I would like to keep the old transducer...is this possible and what unit would work with it. I am after a very simple depth unit.

I had a Nasa clipper on my last boat, did the job fine, 2inch digits, easy to read.
Might work with your transducer, most are made by Airmar these days, most work at either 150 or 500kHz, but the assembly of head unit and transducer is often tuned together, so probably best to change both.
Incastec are echopilot so why not ask them?
