I have a nice collection of old bronze piston hanks from my recently replaced jeckylls sails. So far I have used one for the end of strop to tie the helm over when moored up and another for clipping on the boarding ladder - anyone got any good uses for the rest of these nice little items?

Send them to me?

Sorry, just a bit bored at work. Will try and come up with something a bit more useful...

use em for clipping the joining and pick up lines on my mooring lines, they also do the important job of adding a bit of weight so that the lines sink quick as we cast off

Classic Marine offer a "sell your old bits" service. They may be able to sell them for you, as they would appeal to the "Classic Boat" sailors. Some of them actually prefer them to the other sail attachment systems.
