old faithful handheld gps

my old faithful handheld gps finally died mid channel this weekend Lots of lines and pretty pictures then nothing...... Any suggestions for a replacement. tend to use it for racing round the cans in the solent and for a back up to the chart plotter on board.

Hi, I use a Garmin 76, highly recommended and prices are lower now the 60 series is on sale. You can get e 75 for 149 pounds.

If you don't need map / plotting on it ..... the little eTrex is small, slips in pocket and does a pretty good job for small money ..... then of course you can go up the money stakes and have maps on higher models ....
