Dear Auntie Scuttie,
An elderly friend of mine's daughter has an old Carlsberg which she seems to like. Wooed she be better off with something else?

Dear Jimi,

Auntie Scuttie isn't available immediately to respond to your concerns for your friend's daughter but I may be able to reassure you.

It is not unusual for young girls to become fixated on bottles and you should not be unduly alarmed. In fact, it is better that her attention be directed towards just one rather than being tempted to sample the many and varied choices available to the detrement to her health.

I personally would recommend Bud but it is her choice ulimately.

Do nothing to discourage her. It would be counterproductive.

so what you're saying is "how can I steal this girl's bottle from her?" We've had some pretty rum questions on this board in the past but stealing a girl's booze is scraping the barrel.

Would this be a reference to a certain freinds daughter's propensity for Scandinavian blood, perchance?

It's an awfy wee picture for my eyes, but it you do seem to have more than a passing resenmblance to the late Mr Shand of Auchtermuchty. Are you by any chance related? His uncle perhaps?

I think we should be told.

<hr width=100% size=1>I had a very nice link until Kim told us off about it. I'm not bitter mind.
