old boat needs id

I just recently found a beautiful old mahogany boat that was being put out for trash and began restoring it. I am trying to put an age to it but have had no luck so far. Can anyone help me identify the boat. Here is the info that is inscribed on a metal tab on the stern: NORSK SPRANGSTOFINDUSTRI A/S
OSLO then the number 1284 which I take to be a serial number. This boat is definitly old and from norway, any comments or suggestions as where I should go to idenitify its origins would be greatly appreciated. It is 10 feet in length with oar locks, and a 8 or 10 foot lateen sail. flashpo1nt@aol.com

Suggest submitting the same info to Swedish or Norwegian boat forums. "Sprangstof" is the Norwegian word for explosives, "industri" is like the English. 1284 might be a post code. Good Luck, Randall
