I am trying to find information about a boat for a friend.
It was built by James Taylor in 1939 (no 513) as a fire tender and carries a Thames register no 187634.
41.7 ft LOA 13ft Beam and fitted with two 80hp inboard engines.
It carries the code MKBX (WD no?) and sank of Sheerness possibly on return from Dunkirk, but it is not on the little ship register.
It was salvaged after the war and was Lloyds registered as Pamelyn in 1957
I have sent this info to the little ships register and any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
