My pal Trevor having just been discharged from hospital with double pnumonia (ok--you spell it!) wanted to take his out of the box SC29 for a spin on Saturday. We were cordialy invited to crew. Having had experience on an old 328 with its beam sea handling issues I was interested to see if Sealine had made any improvements over 12 years. We ventured out to sea and Trev opened her up at which point he asked me to take the wheel. WELL!
This Baby handles like a dream. It was doing top end of 3 from the SW and I didnt get a single thump head to wind. Even on a beam sea at 26K she didnt need trim.
It didnt arf corner!
Yes thats our wake!
Trevs Mrs really appreciated my helming
I didnt understand the comments about a man posessed though.
Need less to say my half hour at the helm has converted me to a Sealine fan. The boat has no vices at all, has an amazingly soft riding hull for its size and you can chuck it about like a jet ski!
Well eventually I gave the helm back to Trev which Jane really seemed to appeciate.
Well done Sealine--you got your sums dead right on the SC29--wanna play with some bigger ones now. Trevs going for the new SC35 at SIBs with a bit of luck. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
